Hello!

I want to forward mails from a t-online mail server to my iRedMail server. Now, the t-online server is rejected by my server.

I did the following:

1) Added to /etc/postfix/main.cf

mynetworks = 127.0.0.1, mx00.t-online.de, mx01.t-online.de, mx02.t-online.de, mx03.t-online.de, mailout00.t-online.de, mailout01.t-online.de, mailout02.t-online.de, mailout03.t-online.de, mailout04.t-online.de, mailout05.t-online.de, mailout06.t-online.de, mailout07.t-online.de, mailout08.t-online.de, mailout09.t-online.de, mailout10.t-online.de, mailout11.t-online.de, mailout12.t-online.de, mailout13.t-online.de

2) Added to /opt/iredapd/settings.py

MYNETWORKS = ['mx00.t-online.de', 'mx01.t-online.de', 'mx02.t-online.de', 'mx03.t-online.de', 'mailout00.t-online.de', 'mailout01.t-online.de', 'mailout02.t-online.de', 'mailout03.t-online.de', 'mailout04.t-online.de', 'mailout05.t-online.de', 'mailout06.t-online.de', 'mailout07.t-online.de', 'mailout08.t-online.de', 'mailout09.t-online.de', 'mailout10.t-online.de', 'mailout11.t-online.de', 'mailout12.t-online.de', 'mailout13.t-online.de']

However, t-online is still blocked. On my old server, only adding the entries to the main.cf, was enough for fixing it. I had to disable "reject_null_sender" and "reject_sender_login_mismatch" for making it work for now.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Adrian

Hi,

I'm interessed in Sogo use in conjunction with Iredmail.
which sogo features are manageable in iredmail ?

When we talk about Sogo integration in Iredmail, what are we talking about precisely?
Could you please tell me which features of Sogo are manageable through the administration interface of iredadmin?

Best regards,

Hi all
I've iredmail being migrated from legacy version to the latest one. I want to setup a second server to host "imap" and "pop3" services to reduce the load on the email server. While LDAP connections from second server are going fine, when it tries to map the Maildir home directory, it is looking for local directory instead of directory on mail server and throws the below error

May 13 16:29:40 imap(abcd@example.com): Debug: Home dir not found: /var/vmail/vmail1/example.com/a/b/c/abcd-2016.02.14.20.23.29/

Please let me know the way forward or any document available.
If anyone has implemented, please share the procedure.

Thanks

Trying to upgrade iRedMail, i get stuck at trying to upgrade Roundcubemail (https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/wiki/Upgrade)
I need to bin/installto.sh <your-existing-roundcube-directory>

According to http://www.iredmail.org/docs/file.locat … be-webmail the location of my roundcube directory should be /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail but such a directory does not exist (neither roundcubemail-x.y.z).

So how can i upgrade Roundcubemail? Where is the existing roundcube directory located?

Hi,

Love the product. I have hopefully what would be a quick question. We use Iredmail server for scanning to email from our Multifunction Copiers / Scanners.

Our previous mail server would send the job in around 5 seconds and by the time I am back to my desk the email would be waiting.

However with Iredmail this process seems to take a little longer, for the same document took around 2 minutes to arrive in my inbox. Now this may not sound a lot and I would agree but i know users will complian.

Is there any reason for this delay, are the mails being scanned before being sent which is causing a delay, are there any tweaks I can make to speed this up slightly.

Many Thanks

Hi all,

I must apologise in advance, but I am very new to setting up email, so thanks for your patience!!

Anyway, I just set up an email server and I got this email:

Error while processing /etc/awstats/awstats.smtp.conf
Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.smtp.conf" by AWStats version 7.2 (build 1.992)
From data in log file "perl /usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/maillogconvert.pl standard < /var/log/mail.log |"...
Error: Couldn't open server log file "perl /usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/maillogconvert.pl standard < /var/log/mail.log |" : Cannot allocate memory
Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.smtp.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

Should I be worried? Anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks!! smile

Amavisd not opening ports before manual service restart

Hi,

I did a fresh install of iRedMail on CentOS 7, on a newly installed default CentOS 7 machine. After the machine boots up, the Amavisd starts but does not open the ports that it should. I did not change these configuration files, this is the default behaviour after installing as described in your installation guide:

[root@mail ~]# netstat -lpn | grep amavis

Hi. Since the upgrade to iRedAPD 1.9.0 in iredapd.log appears following errors:

INFO * <<< ERROR >>> Cannot insert new record for domain ebay.com: (1213, 'deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction')
INFO * <<< ERROR >>> Cannot insert new record for domain ebay.com: (1213, 'deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction')

INFO * <<< ERROR >>> Cannot insert new record for domain amazon.com: (1213, 'deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction')

Seems like errors in greylist processing
May be something wrong?

Thanks a lot.

ArchLinux

I recently installed ArchLinux to try and experiment with this powerful distribution, I found that it is very light and stable, missing some packages that achieves compile as amavisd-new, I raised the idea developer IredMail "Zhang Huangbin" and told me to give support to this distrubution if apparently was not used by many people as an operating system for servers. I wonder if I have more people who have the same idea that I have to be able to add support for this distribution.

This is a two part post:
I'm having immense difficulty integrating phpldapadmin into the existing iRedMail nginx default installation. I've combed through several ways to do this and tried them all but no success. Does anyone have experience installing it into their existing iRedMail setups? I'm looking for sample configs to see what I'm doing wrong.

I'm migrating aliases, domains, and users from an SQL installation into LDAP. The domains I'm already resolved to doing by hand and the users I can use the csv > ldif converter. But how do I migrate aliases? The structure of the mailAlias object class can be imported as an ldif but those exist under the User? Or would it be easier to use the add user to group tool in iRedMail and forego aliases entirely and just use mail lists? And if that's the case, how can I mass create mail lists?

Greetings,

I am getting spam email that I cannot get iRedMail to tag as spam and put into spam folders. I tried changing amavisd.conf to set "$final_spam_destiny       = D_DISCARD;" and restarted amavisd daemon but 300+ spam messages get delivered to INBOX of one user every day.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get iRedMail to process messages and handle spam correctly?

Thanks!

Problem DNSBL

we rent a new dedicated server (in soyoustart) since january, and his IP is in the list of blocked for sending e-mails by two Dnsbl. They do not allow to send messages to our customers and interfere with our work for our business.

Of course our server never sent SPAM (and it is not SMTP relay too)

But our SMTP server is blocked since January by

http://www.dnsblchile.org (137.240.69.158.dnsblchile.org)
http://spamgrouper.to/  (137.240.69.158.netblockbl.spamgrouper.to)

We can not send emails to some customers.
We contacted this 2 DNSBL by email

We have do delist request but we received only Answers copy-paste without delving into the essence of the problem at all
Many times we sent a request to the site to unlock, there is no result

Here it is : http://multirbl.valli.org/dnsbl-lookup/ … 0.137.html

What can we do to delist us if email do not work

Good morning,

I have read the backup and restore documentation, and the thread here - http://www.iredmail.org/forum/topic1064 … boxes.html

I am a little confused by exactly what I should back up and restore. My understanding is that backing up the MySQL databases with the backup scripts backs up the email accounts, but the emails themselves are held in a standard directory structure in the filesystem under /var/vmail/vmail1.

I am migrating from a server I set up some years ago and was my first attempt at running a Linux email server. I learned as I went along and think it is time to refresh the system and my knowledge. So I have an old server with a few domains which I want to separate out to new servers with one domain each. Each domain only has one email address that has useful emails.

I can see how the backup and restore of the MySQL database would be important for those with hundreds or more email accounts. But as I only have one, if I simply create a new email user on a new server with the same address as the old one and copy the relevant folder path from the old /var/vmail/vmail1/<domain>/u/s/e/r/ path, would this be enough to migrate successfully?

Thanks in advance.
