Hi,
I've successfully migrated from old version to new version 0.9.4. Thanks to the migration document. Though I ran into some trouble while restoring LDAP account, we were able to fix it.

As we have migrated to a better system, I want to allocate unlimited mail quota to all the users. I've around 2200 user accounts and is tough job to update the mail quota for each user from admin console, please suggest me if there is any alternative way to update the quota value globally..

Thanks
Divakar BM

I started with iRedmail 9.4 and just updated to 9.5 as per your document. When I first installed iRedmail I neglected to install SOGo. I now wish to do so, is there an document that explains how this can be accomplished. If necessary I can always reinstall the whole system as I have ample backups, but I am hoping to avoid that route.

I also wanted to confirm that SOGo is a replacement for roundcube, or do you run both each having different functionality.

As always any help is appreciated

local deliver - root

Email to root is winding up in ~/dead.letter rather than being delivered to the local mail box. I've checked my domain name, origin and setup mynetworks in /etc/postfix/main.cf and /opt/iredapd/settings.py still local delivery fails.

Example:
============================================================================
echo "This is a test" | mail -s testing123 root@<MYDOMAIN>

Results in:

May  9 10:35:56 webmail postfix/smtpd[10883]: connect from unknown[192.168.XXX.252]
May  9 10:35:56 webmail postfix/smtpd[10883]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[192.168.XXX.252]: 550 5.1.1 <root@<MYDOMAIN>>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table; from=<root@webmail.<MYDOMAIN>> to=<root@<MYDOMAIN>> proto=SMTP helo=<webmail.<MYDOMAIN>>
May  9 10:35:56 webmail sSMTP[10882]: RCPT TO:<root@<MYDOMAIN>> (550 5.1.1 <root@<MYDOMAIN>>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table)
============================================================================

The machine is not yet in production so the domain is NOT in DNS - this may be part of the issue - I do have everything setup in /etc/hosts properly.

Do I need to add root or is there a setting I'm missing to allow local delivery?

Thank you

I've migrated to new version of iRedmail from 08.x.
Users with bigger mailboxes are unable to see their mails in the inbox. Dovecot log says vsz_limit is small and needs to be increased.
I've default vsz_limit set at 254M. I tried changing the vsz_limit value in dovecot.conf, but it din't help.
Please help in changing the default_vsz_limit?

Hello,
Is iRedMail and iRedAdmin-Pro compatible with Apple OS X Mail client?

Just saw this post for first time and not sure when it was placed there....

From: http://www.iredmail.org/download.html

"Full/native Exchange protocol support requires OpenChange and Samba4, but they're not integrated in iRedMail, so iRedMail doesn't provide full/native support for Microsoft Outlook clients, Apple Mail.app."

Hi all,
I have iRedmail running for my own mail for little while now.
Its all running good, I am working on my backup/restore setup.
So I wanted to install phpmyadmin, but it seems obsolete and Adminer is the way to go.
I am not experiencied with nginx yet, so I hope you guys can help me in the right directions.

I am confused what files to edit, in /etc/nginx/... to get the Adminer to work.

Steps taken so far:

1) mkdir -p /usr/local/nginx/adminer
2) cd /usr/local/nginx
3) wget http://www.adminer.org/latest.php -O /usr/local/nginx/adminer/index.php
4) chown -R www-data:www-data /usr/local/nginx/adminer

Here I am stuck cause I don't know what .confs to edit to get https://host.org/adminer to work.

If you need more info please let me know.

kind regards,

Phyt

I tried a couple of times on a fresh installed Linode / Digital ocean VPS and finally get it work.

However I have some requirements that the auto installation script can not solved. e.g. I would like to deploy Roundcube and the admin panel on a dedicated web server, rather then the mail server itself.

I managed to compare the differences between a fresh system and a new installed iRedMail system, it was a long list and will take a long time to go through, reading the auto script to find out the installation process is also a hard work. I have already worked out what packages iRedMail might need during installation, as well as some config added into /etc.

The auto script is just to much and it is hard to figure out what it does to the system step by step, so personally I prefer to install all components manually rather then use a script. I really hope someone could send me a copy about manual installation, I just can't find anything about it one the web, all documents are telling you to use the script.

Hi all, sorry if this is a very stupid question, but I've just started with email and I've encountered an issue that I can't seem to fix.

I managed to set up iRedMail successfully. However, when I send an email, it tries to send with postmaster@127.0.0.1

When I click on the send button, it gives the error:

SMTP Error (501): Failed to set sender "postmaster@127.0.0.1" (5.1.7 Bad sender address syntax).

I can't seem to fix this... any help?

Thanks!
