Hi. Something strange happens with the server. This mail server supports 3 domains:domain1,domain2,domain3. When sending emails between these domains emails go without a problem, but if from any other - a problem - email is sent with outlook 2013, vistalba a read receipt, send email, and it comes in log it is nowhere, the notifications are not coming. After rebooting the server the email is delivered, the notification comes.

In the log-file mail.log events also appear- Oct 21 16:23:16 mail postfix/smtpd[2070]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from relay1.kdvm.ru[185.37.190.17]: 554 5.7.1 <info@domen.com>: Recipient address rejected: Policy rejection; from=<> to=<info@domen.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<relay1.kdvm.ru>

Hi All

In our current mail server we use the /etc/aliases file to manage mail aliases.  A couple of our aliases accept log files from our 3rd party vendor and both send the mail on to our administrative users and send them to a processing script that parses the log file for errors.  Here's an example entry from my current alias file to illustrate:

ventor-ht-services:     user1@domain.com, alias1@comain.com, "|/opt/apps/log-handlers/scan-ht-email.sh"

Is there a way to duplicate this functionality using iRedMail's setup?

I read that I can pipe the alias to a custom transport via this doc:  http://www.iredmail.org/docs/pipe.incom … cript.html   but that doesn't allow the messages to also be forwarded to our admin team.

Hello,

Recently installed and can't login to any services such as mail (Roundcube), SOGo or iRedMail though the installation went through without errors.

When trying to login to iRedMail, I get -

Error: Password of cn=vmailadmin is incorrect.

Some background information. I actually originally tried to install SOGo (using their instructions through yum) but it wasn't turnkey enough for me so I found iRedMail. I had also installed openldap through yum as well prior to installing iRedMail.

My guess right now is that I installed openldap before iRedAdmin and its a newer version than iRedAdmin installs with the bundle. Which leads me to scrapping this container and starting a new one and installing iRedMail from scratch. But I find that this may be a learning experiment and trying this forum out before trying to figure out why none of the services can communicate with ldap (persumably).

FYI, on ldap restart, in /var/log/messages -

Oct 22 00:55:51 mail systemd: Starting OpenLDAP Server Daemon...
Oct 22 00:55:51 mail check-config.sh: Warning: Usage of a configuration file is obsolete!
Oct 22 00:55:52 mail systemd: Started OpenLDAP Server Daemon.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

Is there any way to install from behind a firewall (a bluecoat in my case)?
Could there just be an RPM that has the necessary packages in it?

I installed 0.9.2 in an LXC container, (on my home laptop), and that was great! (Excellent work folks!!!)

I would appreciate any pointers or suggestions.

Cheers,
Mark

I found this error in my log and i couldn't find error in configuration. Recently i updated iredmail related to official tutorials.

I have one more question related to php. My current version is php 5.3.3 release 46. I want to upgrade it to version compatible with Roundcubemail 1.1.x where php must be 5.3.7 or greater.
First, how can i do that (what repo)?
Second, if I upgrade with new version what is the compatibility with other components of iredmail (postfix, dovecot). Will everything work after upgrade?
Thanks for answers

Hi,

Are there any white papers or articles discussing how to do this?

I'd like to separate mail services from the main slapd server for both security and ease of control further down the road.

Also, would there be a way to tell iRedMail to keep its mail folders locally and just look up on the slapd server for user authentication?

Thanks

Hello,

I just installed the latest version of iRedMail. Majority of the guides and questions on here in regards to adding email aliases in ldap surround using phpopenldap which I don't believe is being shippined with iredmail anymore. So, are you able to provide command line instructions on how to accomplish an email alias through ldap?

I have a contact/addressbook on a seperate Openldap install on a Jessie server using the basic Debian install with no special attributes, ACL's and an IP address of 10.0.2.22 with DN = ou=AddressBook,dc=example,dc=net. Is it possible for SOGo to connect to this server for the addressbook? Or do I need to export the directory and import it via ldif to the iredmail openldap server? I currently have another program which uses the Addressbook from the Jessie Openldap server and need to be able access this data

Is it possible for SOGo to write to this AddressBook via the Global Addressbook?

If this is possible, is there a how to or documentation on how to achieve this?
Thanks
