Ireadmail not working

Hello,

I have install iredmail 0.9.0 with sogo on ubuntu 12.04 server.But not working iredmail .
start apache2 service geeting error sogo :

Hi guys.
Could anyone tell me how to increase time-out session? I mean the session when people use mailboxes via Roundcube. My colleagues ask me to increase the time because they said it is annoying to login very often, sessions expire very quickly for them.

iRedMail backup server

I want to make a backup of iRedMail server. Backup should be made once a week. So:
1. The backup scripts provided in IRedMail wiki should do the trick, but I assume during this operation the mail process on the main mailserver should be stopped. Is there a way to walk around this?
2. Is there any option to run secondary backup mailserver simultaneously with the main mailserver?

I can send emails to all providers (including gmail) but cannot receive emails from gmail (all others tested are fine). I have disabled greylisting. Here are examples of my mail.log showing examples of mail accepted and gmail rejected (addressed redacted).

I have googled everywhere as to whitelisting gmail.com, but I understand you can no longer whitelist a domain in this version (IPs only). Please confirm this. I have also tried adding 0.0.0.0/0 and ::/0 to whitelists in mail.myserver.com/cluebringer and restarted postfix-cluebringer, but the results stay the same.

Migration to Iredadmin

Hello,
I want move my old mail server from old linux box  to  new, and  also switch it  to iredmail. 

previously I use:
postfix + courier on debian.

Now:
Centos 6.5, iredmail last version + postgresql.


Users, passwords and old mail (/var/spool/mail)  has been moved to  new asset.
I can log to  system using any account from old  server, but I cannot log  to mail  using  roundcubemail or  client like  thunderbird. 

Previously I can log to mail using non ssl  connection,   now not.  It is  OK, I want  improve security.
But .. 
how  setup  iredmail  for use  users password from /etc/passwd and  old  mailstore file?

How  configure iredmail  for allow  users to send and receive mails by they  old password over SSL?

I have server with integrated SOGo - it was installed due to one of tutorials from your website, before it was oficially integrated do v. 0.9

I have following problems:
If i disable user in iRedMail-Pro panel user cannot login to Roundcube but can login to sogo.
I have following filter defined in /var/lib/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults

<string>(objectClass='mailUser' AND accountStatus='active' AND enabledService='mail')</string>

I cannot send mail but I can browse for eg. address book.

Second issue I can find
LDAP address book works fine while autocompleting emails but if I click address book -> Global Adrdress book I cannot browse whole book. Still I can search and it gives some answers

Third isse
If I uncheck under iredadmin-pro visibility in address book user still can be found while searching through sogo
Could you give me any tips?

Help setting up DKIM TXT in Bind...

I can't seem to get DKIM set up in bind correctly.  I keeps failing the amisvid-new test-keys
TESTING#1: dkim._domainkey.example.com  => invalid (public key: not available)

What means virtualdomain in Iredadmin installation

What is Virtualdomain in this case ?
I have now two servers, and i added for both same virtualdomain name.
added these at iredadmin installation section.

server hostname = mail1.postman.net
virtualdomain = postman.net

Then i have another server and added same virtualdomain, does it matter anyhow ?

server hostname = mail2.postman.net
virtualdomain = postman.net

Should i change virtualdomain, for example what kind of name ?

Mailing list & amavis

Hi. I use an account to send mails to all of my members using mailing lists. Is there a way to completely bypass amavis for this user, because when I send an email to 20K users, amavis can't handle this and takes 200ms per messsage (only 5 messages per second). I get a lot of errors about unable to connect to amavis mysql database and queue is full with messages with temporary failure error.

I have 2 local servers, on one (Server 1) I have the ldap server and iredmail up and running, and on the other (Server 2) I have directories for my various linux users. What I want is the user to authenticate via ssh to the Server 1's ldap and then connect to server 2's home directory which he is allocated. Is it possible? Please help.

example:  suppose I created admin user for mail.xxx.yyy  domain then how should I enable ssh for admin
           
ssh admin@mail.xxx.yyy to point to his home directory in Server 2.

so i installed iredmail on a fresh install (i only had sshd installed for obvious reasons), and made an MX record. i sent two test emails (from my gmail email). one to postmaster@mail.dtscode.io and postmaster@dtscode.io and both were recieved successfully. then i added an account dtscode@dtscode.io, and then sent it an email. when i tried to login via https://dtscode.io/mail, the whole thing crashed. iredmail is now down and i cant get it up. please help.

I set up iRedMail the same as I have on my other servers, everything seems to be working except I can't receive/send mail from external sources, although I can still use the mail command from the terminal to mail to the accounts. SELinux has been disabled. I am able to connect via POP3/SMTP without problem.
The only thing I changed since install was an upgrade to php 5.5 for an extra project.

Hi,
I'm trying to install iRedMail from scratch because I made a boobo during the upgrade.
Problem is, I cannot get to the package repository....

http://iredmail.org/yum/rpms/6/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 7 - "Failed to connect to 173.254.22.21: Network is unreachable"
Trying other mirror.

I scan the IP with nmap and all ports are filtered but is accesible from another location, which suggests that I've been blocked.
If that is the case can you please tell me what may be the triggered so I can prevent it from happening again?
And can you please unblock 201.199.245.107.

Configuration problem

Hi! Alice here

I've configured my first iRed. Propably my question is noobish a bit but im frustrated after some hours.
I can send emails but i can not configure my router and domain provider configuration for receiving emails. There are recived emails when i send them locally.  What ports must be forwarded at my router and what changes should be set in ovh dns configuration(only mx record?)

Hello, Mister Zhang,

I have a MiniPC MK80LE and I have installed without problem iRedMail (no SOGo), however when I tried to install with SOGo, and after the apt-get update in the script (iRedMail.sh), I get the error:

This happens when the repository "deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu trusty trusty"  is added and then execute the update

The problem, I think, is the "packages" file in the sogo repo as it seeks a path that doesn't exist (binary-armhf/Packages), I have found this path in the repo ports.ubuntu.com, but not in inverse.ca as originally executed in the file bash script (iRedMail.sh)

I understand that this is the official repo for SOGo, but, maybe you will have some great tip to install SOGo in armv7l Arch.

PD. iRedMail 0.9.0 works so PERFECT in MK80LE Allwinner A80 Octa-Core (Linux Edition) -> http://www.cloudsto.com/products/androi … etail.html
