Hi,

We have a domain that is blacklisted globally (it is not whitelisted against any domain or user) but some of the emails are still getting through.

It appears the be only the emails that have a forward slash in the mail address (see attached screenshot).

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Hey there,

I transfer my maildomain from another server to a fresh installation of iRM and run into some issues:

1. The Webserver and also the Mailserver are only reachable when I disable Fail2Ban. With activated Fail2Ban there are only connections possible from tie to time. The log of Fail2Ban shows no special banned IPs in that time period.

2. I would like to use subdomains for Sogo, Roundcube and iRedAdmin with sogo.domain.de round.domain,de and ired.domain.de. When I use the subdomain-templates it is only possible to use one of those subdomain-templates. When I activate only on e.g. sogo.domain.de an call round.domani.de it is also goes to sogo.domain.de. Is it possible to use this kind of config with three subdomains? When I put a name_server directive in the emplates it throws just an error due to multiple / aka root) directive.

Any help is greatly appreciated. When there are some logs nedded, plz let me know.

Thx again für your help.

Hey there,

is it possible to call two different mail-accounts within SoGo?

In the configuration of the user under Configuration/Settings => Mail =>IMAP-Accounts it is only possible to change some settings of the logged in account, but no feature to add another account that should appear within SoGo.

I already checked the Installation and Config guide on the wiki of SoGo: https://sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstalla … iguration.

But the mentioned part of the config-file in the wiki

{
...
    domains = {
        acme.com = {
            SOGoMailDomain = acme.com;
            SOGoDraftsFolderName = Drafts;
            SOGoUserSources = (...

isn't available in the config of iRedMail (etc/sogo/sogo.conf).

Is it possible after all to call two different mail-accounts within one instance of SoGo like in e.g. Horde? I used Horde for a long time, but the use rinterface is so outdated that I switched to iRedMail as a whole.

Any help is appreciate on that.

Thx and Greets mike

Hi all! I'm sorry if this is a stupid question/issue... I consider myself a noob. Mea culpa.

But when I'm running the installer of 0.9.7 on my Debian 8 (Jessie) box, I get the aforementioned error.
As mentioned above, I'm installing this version as I understood that this was the last to support Debian 8.

I'm pretty sure I understand what's wrong, but I'm not sure how to fix this.
I found a couple of old posts on this and understand that I should attempt to get the right app keys, but not sure for which and how.

I should confess that this is not a fresh installation (although it's pretty obvious by now).
If someone could help point me in the right direction, that would be great.
If I should just upgrade Debian and stop trying to install older iRedMail versions, I would understand that too...

Import calender in Sogo

Hey there,

I would like to import a calender from another groupware (from Horde to be precise).
I did a export from Horde of the calender (all entries are in one .ics-file) and tried to import them into Sogo.
Sogo tells me that the import was successfully, but the entries don't appear in the Sogo calender afterwards.

The sogo.log shows me just:

Feb 27 13:25:23 sogod [9820]: 185.157.29.10 "GET /SOGo/so/michael@domain.de/Calendar/eventsblocks?ed=20200301&sd=20200224&view=weekview HTTP/1.0" 200 744/0 0.029 - - 0

I'm not sure which one of the verbose logging I have to activate in sogo.conf:

   // Log file
    //WOLogFile = /var/log/sogo/sogo.log;

    // Enable verbose logging. Reference:
    // http://www.sogo.nu/nc/support/faq/artic … -sogo.html
    //SOGoDebugRequests = YES;
    //SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES;
    //ImapDebugEnabled = YES;
    //LDAPDebugEnabled = YES;
    //MySQL4DebugEnabled = YES;
    //PGDebugEnabled = YES;

Thx again for any help.

I guess this is a relevant issue/critical error? Maybe other users have this error as well?

How can I solve that problem?

Thx for help.

All Ports Suddenly Closed

Hi all,

All of the ports of the server on which I installed iRedMail have (with the exception of SSH) suddenly and inexplicably closed:

PORT    STATE  SERVICE
22/tcp  open   ssh
80/tcp  closed http
110/tcp closed pop3
143/tcp closed imap
443/tcp closed https
465/tcp closed smtps
587/tcp closed submission
993/tcp closed imaps
995/tcp closed pop3s

The server was processing mail without a problem for a day or two and then suddenly this. I checked if maybe iptables is responsible, but no rules are active.

root@mx:~# iptables -nvL
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)
pkts bytes target     prot opt in     out     source               destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)

Tried to search for relevant topic with no luck.  I am noticing many if not most of my spam has  mismatch domains between sender and reply to.  Often they will use a burner gmail domain to spray spam and a hotmail or corporate domain for reply to. How can I make a rule to reject all email with a domain mismatch.  I will deal with legitimate mismatches as they occur but doubt it will be a wide spread problem.    Thanks

If I want to forward alias@domain2.com to user@domain1.com do I need to add records to alias_domain, alias, and forwardings? Or just alias and forwardings?

The example is alias@domain1.com to user@domain1.com, but in my example I want the alias on a different domain than the user.

Thanks.

If I want to send mail from an alias address (e.g. user@domain1.com sends mail with a from address of alias@domain2.com) is any special configuration required? Or does authenticating automatically allow them to do this?

Hello, in the documents there is a guide to  managing resources with sogo, it says to enter following command:

ldapvi -D 'cn=manager,dc=xx,dc=xx' -b 'o=domains,dc=xx,dc=xx' -W "mail=meetingroom@example.com"

I think -W is a typo, it isnt listed as option for ldapvi (-w is for entering password, but -W isn't there).  I've tried a few things, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks

Hi EveryOne,

I have tried to configure my iRedMail instance to connect through SAML2 (With KeyCloack)
I think that the Sogo Configuration is Ok
I have a problem with Dovecot configuration

I used pam_script --> https://github.com/ck-ws/pam-script-saml
But without success, I always have this errors :

auth failed, 1 attempts in 9 secs): user=<***@domain.net>, method=PLAIN, rip=127.0.0.1, lip=127.0.0.1, TLS: Disconnected, TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits), session=<DvMj73eenoN/AAAB>

I also tried other pam method

Is AnyOne already configure Dovecot with SAML ?

Thnak you !
