I cannot get my web server to mail via php (contact forms) through the email server. Certs were created for each VPS separately via letsencrypt. Which is complaining, the web server or the email server?

Hi
I have applied ip based login restriction from admin panel for some users . I am unable to login from other ip which i have not entered in "Restrict to login from specified addresses". If i login from allowed ip from sogo, the mail folders are not listed and  it gives message as "no mailbox selected". if i disable ip restriction then sogo lists all mail folders. Please help me to sort this issue

Hi all,

Not sure if this question had been asked, but I just couldn't find the right answer to this.
Scenario:
* Using Outlook with EAS (Exchange ActiveSync) - via SOGo.
* UserA@mydom.com send email to xxy@invaliddomain.com or invaliduser@domain.com, it is ok and gotten a NDR back.
* UserA@mydom.com send email to invaliduser@mydom.com (same domain), stuck in the Outbox instead.

How do I make it to bounce with NDR instead of just stuck in Outbox.

In the Logs, it is showing below.

Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table;

I tried to change the Postfix main.cf by not rejecting invalid recipients, but I find it is wrong. If I don't reject, means there won't be any NDR bouncing back. Hence, how do I allow Outlook to just put the email to sent Item folder and not Outbox.

Hi everyone, I am currently running several domains on Mail-in-a-box. Works solid, but there's a specific task, which requires more flexibility. I'd spent a couple weeks researching more versatile server options, and decided to swith to iRedMail, because for my particular task it's either iRedMail or Exchange/Google Suite and I'm not coming back there.

Google brought me to this thread: https://forum.iredmail.org/topic5804-ho … -only.html This is very close to what we have to have in the offices, and if this works, I'll move to iRedMail.

Our situation - say we have 20 users.
6 of them should full access, e-mail on their mobiles, webmail etc.
10 should have web-mail only, no clients, no mobile access. Strict thin-client webmail.
Remaining 4 should have e-mail setup on their work laptops in clients, and on their mobile, but no webmail access.

My question is - has anything changed regarding the ability to restrict access to webmail only OR to client only? I mean both in the Admin and internally in the DB structure etc.? I've seen the advanced tab in the iRedAdmin-Pro demo, and services can be disabled, but there isn't "webmail" parameter. This thread https://forum.iredmail.org/topic5804-ho … -only.html had plans to implement this. Second page is especially interesting. But it's from 2014.
Should I go by the thread above and figure the queries that would work for me? There're awesome ideas there btw, thanks a lot to Zhang and other participants.

Also, Zhang, you've mentioned not many users need this. I can share that lots of companies need this, almost all that use thin clients or "kiosk" mode machines, field terminals, and have information security policies. I think if these features are implemented and marketed on your site, it would boost adoption of your product. The thread above is frankly the only discussion of an open source solution being able to restrict a particular user to webmail only!

I recently installed a new SSL certificate (purchased), I changed the files:

/etc/ssl/certs/iRedMail.crt
/etc/ssl/private/iRedMail.key
/etc/ssl/private/iRedMail_PostgreSQL.key

And all of a sudden it stopped working. From the explorer or phone if it works. What have I done wrong?

Does iredmail use ufw or fail2ban?  ufw is installed but not running, fail2ban appears to be running, but I thought I'd seen somewhere that ufw is now the default on Ubuntu. I don't care which it is, just want to know how to set up a permament machine wide (not domain wide) blacklist from a text file which will autoupdate periodically.

Background -

We're setting up an HA configuration (haproxy -> iRedMail server -> MySQL cluster).  I have the HA setup working with the gluster configuration and I'm successfuly replicating /var/vmail between nodes.  I also have a mariaDB cluster working, but it's using local storage for the databases. 

I plan to set up separate storage for both the data stored under /var/vmail and for the database files and can't find information/guidelines on how to size the volumes if the database storage will be separate from the /var/vmail volumes. Specifically I'd like to set up a mariadb cluster using galera behind an haproxy setup for the databases that is separate from the gluster replicated /var/vmail. 

What is the recommended storage allocation per user for each of the different volumes -
    /var/vmail
    /db volume

Hi all, I'm going to install Nextcloud on the same instance with my brand new iRedMail and I want iRedMail users to be able to login into Nextcloud directly. I know that people have done it, but could you spare a minute and give me some pointers?

Specifically - can I stay with SQL backend in iRedMail and utilise "User and Group SQL Backend" plugin for Nextcloud? Did it work for anybody? How did you access the userlist/passwords from the iRedMail SQL?

Or should I reinstall while it's fresh and go with LDAP backend for iRedMail? In this case, how do I call iRedMail LDAP to gain access from the NextCloud "LDAP user and group backend" plugin?

Again, it will be the same machine.
