Hi, Zhang Huangbin

In my company we have several versions of Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 and others. How can I enable ports 110 and 25 for internal network?

continuation for this as it was just closed, without giving me any chance to answer... : https://forum.iredmail.org/post61695.html

literally the first line of the upgrade notes say that you have to use the mysql upgrade script IF you're using mysql.

Run the shell script sql-update-3.2.10_to_4.0.0.sh or sql-update-3.2.10_to_4.0.0-mysql.sh (if you are using MySQL).

As I don't know how the iredmail installation script installs sogo, I asked.

And I was not talking about the mail accounts stored in sql or ldap, I was just talking about sogo.

I just wanted to find out how difficult it would be to convert from using Nginx to Apache, I use Apache for other things and my host decided to install Nginx prior to me getting an opportunity to get Apache installed

Does the install script manage automatic cutover between the different webhosts? I should mention this would be done on a production machine which is why I'm asking for feedback before doing anything.

Thanks for your time!

Please help, my ISP told me that one of email users sends a lot of spam to various countries, france, italy, etc. I checked the corresponding mailbox there are tons of bounceback mailer daemon but not a single spammy email in his mailbox "Sent Items". I have checked in mxtoolbox that my server is not an open relay. Do you have any advice on what to check to fix this spam? Thanks in advance

Hello.
I'm having a little issue with my e-mail server, as it forwards CLIENT IP in header (Received: from [127.0.1.1] (unknown [91.123.XX.XXX]) ). What should I do to remove this header from sharing the client IP?

Also, I am having an issue with the IPv6 SPF  (Received-SPF: softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning postmaster@themailserver.com does not designate 2b01:8620:201:20f::67a8 as permitted sender) client-ip=2b01:8620:201:20f::67a8;), also, what should I do in order to get ridd of this softfail?
Thanks!

Hello iReMail Community,

One of the accounts from my domain is being targeted by some Chinese spam. I've tried (successfully) blocking those domains using iRedap, but since the domains constantly change, this is becoming an unpractical task.

Now, since these emails are being sent in chinese language, I thought of blocking these emails based on the language. After some research I've come with this sitehttp://blog.le-vert.net/?p=67 (mentioned already in this forum https://forum.iredmail.org/topic9166-ir … sue.html), but doesn't work for me, as it didn't work for TumTum.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks

During initial configuration I inadvertently configured the server to be mail.example.com instead of just example.com.
Somehow the the system is now sending system emails (like from CRON) to root@mail.example.com.  I have triedeverywhere I can think in order to get these going to root@example.com but to no avail.  While this isn't a iRedMail issue exactly, I am thinking that it was due to my improper configuration the first time around.  The server is working great now, properly configured with multiple domains sending and receiving emails.

For the life of me I am just unable to figure out how to solve this issue.  Does anybody have any suggestions?

Hi,
I have been tasked to add a Joomla/PHP website to our running iRedMail server. The server has more than enough horsepower to do this ... dual E5-2680v4 processors and 64GB of RAM.
Can someone provide me with the changes that must be done to the configuration to make this happen.
I am a wiz with Apache but quite the newbie with Nginx.
Thanks for the help.
