Basically I'm trying to send an email from gmail to one of my email addresses that I've setup with iredmail.
I'm getting a message back in the postmaster account telling me:
In: STARTTLS
Out: 454 4.7.0 TLS not available due to local problem

I've previously setup opendkim with opendmarc manually but I've removed them later on since it was giving mitter issues with postfix. After that I've setup amavisd with opendkim. Anyhow that shouldn't be what's causing this issue. So the most important part is basically where it says cannot load Certificate Authority data. Because of this, any mail I'm recieving from gmail gets rejected.. And I'm still not quite sure why...

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix the issue?

I'm currently setting up the new mailserver.
I'm using SOGo groupware and planning to use Outlook 2016 and 365 with activesync.

I have noticed a strange problem with the sync of the calendar.

When I add an calendar item in Outlook without a reminder, it shows up in the webmail or an other device with a reminder.
Maybe it's an Microsoft error, because when I add an item with my smartphone there is no issue.

When added an calender item with a reminder, the reminder time is correctly send.

Does anyone know this issue and how to solve?

Hello again.

first of until now everything worked like a charm.
Last week we added a new domain and configured all DNS entries in amazons Route53.
This is the only domain on amazon the other domains are not kokal and are working.
So it seems there needs to be a special config of some kind to get it working.
My PTR DNS and MX are working are resolving as ok.
A dig command shows the right values. I can send mails from the server but cannot receive mails.
The error i get from gmail is 4.4.1 temporary delivery error.
The mail failed to deliver after 48 hours.
Do you have any experience how to set this up the right way?
I have no other log files for this isue.

Tried it so far without success.

I have migrated old server to new one sometime ago and I've noticed that I cannot see old emails in roundcube. On old mailserver I had different email and user name, maybe here is problem? Anyway grep and cat are showing this mials properly. Timestamps are wrong, i made a mistake coping them rawly..

I have a problem with iredmail maillist restriction. After migrating to a new server with latest OS and iredmail services, all configurations are working fine except maillist restriction. If i set mail list to only moderator can send, it doesnt work as anybody can send to that group. Hi, I'd like to recieve emails from a mailserver which is not correctly configured (and it seems nobody is able to fix this) so I wanted to whitelist it.

As mail.log throws this error: "Helo command rejected: Host not found" I added a record in /etc/hosts like

123.123.123.123 int.domain.local

now the domain is resolvable but the error still exists.

The only temporary solution was to outcomment

reject_unknown_helo_hostname

Is there a way to set this exception just for one specific domain or ip?

I tried understanding what I'd need for a 'full backup' on my VPS and realized it is above my pay grade.  Now, I'd just like to protect the mail store (if I have the In/Out/Sent/Etc for the system I can restore every thing ... eventually.  Without the data, I'm sunk.

What file(s) would i need to rsync between machines 1.2.3.4 and 2.3.4.5 to protect my data using the default install above?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere; I didn't find it.

Hi,

I have somebody using the same domain outside the mail server but i can't send to it.
I have tried : sql> INSERT INTO sender_relayhost (account, relayhost) VALUES ('user@domain.com', '[my.isp.smtp.mail.server]:25'); but the mail is not send to the user.

Error : NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from localhost[127.0.0.1]: 550 5.1.1 <test@domain.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table; from=<me@domain.com> to=<test@domain.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<localhost>

It worked fine on my old synology mail server

Is there a easy fix for this ?

When you change password in roundcube it does not match with sogo login (getting wrong password).

a change in the roundcube/plugin/password/config file
set
$config['password_dovecotpw_method'] = "CRYPT"; (in my case int he sql section of the config file)
would do the trick
Hope this'll get fixed in the next version :-)

the tool is stored in
/usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Tools/Admin/sogo-tool
and the backup script expects sogo-tool to be in path
(line 63 - export CMD_SOGO_TOOL='sogo-tool')

having issues using the gmail app. running a lets encrypt cert. https works fine.

the gmail app works, but it says the connection is unsecure. when adding account, one must choose the unsecure option. i dont want my employees to have to choose that.

any ideas?

Hello

I just found a bug when there is an alias see example below:

This means only person1@mail.com  and person2@tmail.com can send email to general@YOURDOMAIN.com

But what i notice is when i use other addres -> it’s not blokked at all :-s

Can you help me out on this. 

(I had this scenario, when 1 of the emails does not exist everybody get’s a bounce mail ...)

And i would like to avoid that !

Hi all,
having a couple of internal mailing lists defined, and set to be visible via the global address book.
If using the SOGo calendar web gui, I can select a mailing list ( like everyone@my.domain ) as attendee.
When the booking is send, it will be vissible for the organizer and other attendees as "everyone@my.domain" and not individual users.
The preferred method whould be to expnad the mailing list before sending (in the creation phase) so that indiviual accept/reject are tracked.
Is this possible at all to achieve at all?

The work arround is that the organiser selects all individual users instead of the mailing list alias "everyone@my.domain"
For a small organisation its just fine, but if you have hundreds or more users and 5-10 possible alias list to select from it gets more complicated.
