Our mx gateway is bombarded with spoofed emails supposedly from us (the emails claim to be random_name@ourdomainname.com) sent from random sources. I have our mx gateway configured to reject and defer all of this email and only accept email @ our domain name from our sending server so the emails are not being relayed but they are however generating an insane amount of activity in the logs and our mail queue often has sometimes 8k or more of these deferred emails in the queue.

What is the proper way to reject all spoofed email that is supposedly from our domain without ending up in the queue or generating some much noise in the logs? Is there a way to do that?

SoGo does not accept passwords in the web interface.
No problem for RoundCube.
Also; Exchange mail does not accept password.
No problem for pop3.
I'm just having trouble with SOGo too.

After php7.0 upgrade were seeing this error alot in iredapd.log

Hello,

Some of our clients travelling abroad have seen ports 993, 995, 465 and 587 (We keep 465 for old Outlook 2003 machines that will replaced sometime later this year) blocked.

Is there a way to make Dovecot simultaneously listen to ports 993 and 1993, ports 995 and 1995 and Postfix on ports ports 465 and 1465 , 587 and 1587 ?

In other words, have a secondary listener ports 1993, 1995, 1465 and 1587 for the above services ?

After installing iRedMail my local daemons can't send out emails any more. I am testing with "sendmail receiver@domain" and get a "Relay access denied" error in maillog.

After looking into your support forums I found two possible options: 1) authenticate all local email sent which I find very complicated to add to every daemon I have, and 2) add my server's IP to mynetworks.

What I don't understand is: Email from localhost should already allowed without authentication because /etc/postfix/main.cf contains mynetworks = 127.0.0.1.

However the logs say:

So just to debug I added my servers IP 144.76.x.y to /etc/postfix/main.cf mynetworks. Then I found that I also had to add it to /opt/iredapd/settings.py MYNETWORKS and even to amavisd.conf @inet_acl. But even after adding the IP thru there I got a Blocked MTA-BLOCKED error from amavisd.

Please give me a clue why email from the local machine is not properly whitelisted to go out.

(If email can't go out because of the design of iRedMail and Postfix, do you have any idea how I can make sendmail work again to deliver from daemons to external mail addresses? E.g. make it connect to a different port, where I run a local sendmail service on while postfix is running on the standard port?)

Im wondering how to set roundcube skins based on device like have skin larry for desktop and mobileskin for mobile automatically. i have the skins in the skins directory and i know i have to use rcs_skins plugin

but i forget how to do it, i did it before, cant remember what i need to do.
i went to /opt/www/roundcubemail/config and edited config.inc.php plugins line to add 'rcs_skins'
stumped from then on as to what to do, cant find the documentation i used before.

Hi,

Because of the crash of my NAS, I have lost my VM ... So I had to reinstall from scratch a new iRedMail server based on the last version.
This is working ... But as "unison" was not very efficient this time, I have clone my freshly build iRedMail server. Now I do have 2 emails server strictly identical (except for the IP and the hostname) ...
I would like now to find a solution to sync all my IMAP folders between my both servers.
I am today playing with the tool "imapsync" but I am stuck because of my ssl config (still working on it) what solution are you using ?? What tools are you using ??

Why i try to send an email i get the following error:

I hope somebody with iRedmail server and SOGo on an OSX system reads this:

I am sharing calendars in a small team.
The calendars that are being shared with me I subscribed to with iCal and I can see all of them in iCal.

But in Reminders.app (tasks) I can only see the tasks/reminders from my own calendars or the ones that I shared to others.
(iOS devices connected with EAS show all tasks, also the ones from subscribed calendars).

Can someone tell me if there is a trick to subscribe to the delegated calendar tasks with the Reminder.app or can someone give me a recomendation for another tasks application that shows also Tasks from delegated/subscribed calendars?

Maybe a bit special usecase but surely not completely unusual?

Every tip would be very much appreciated ;-)

To create a server with high availability (2 VMs in different datacentres) is it as simple as using Dovecot Replication, with MariaDB replication? I'm using SOGo for webmail, contacts and calendar with ActiveSync. I'd also be looking to point my MX record at both servers.

Any suggestions on this setup?

I get letters from some of my counterparties. They block my server with the comment "quarantine: bad-head -..."
Added address amavis whitelist did not help.
How do I know what is wrong with the head? How to resolve to take the letters from some domains, even if the headers is not correct?

This is the first release that has come available since I migrated to iRedMail. I have followed all the docs for upgrading from 0.9.5-1 to 0.9.6 that was listed in the migration. Was I supposed to download the tarball for 0.9.6 as well and run something from there?

Also does this release bring the capability of Awstats for Nginx?

Just trying to make sure I did not miss any thing.

Hmmmm,

The service amavisd does not start anymore since I tried to update the amavisd.conf
"Add more banned file types/extensions in Amavisd."

Also when I go back to the backed up conf file, I receive the following error message...

By default, the server is case-sensitive for email addresses.
Addresses user@domain.com and User@domain.com are different. How to disable the sensitivity to the server and perceived as one and the same address for the local emails?
