Hello I successfully run a mini mail server with address postmaster@[domain]. DNS was also set up with DKIM and DMARC record. Mail tester gives 10/10 rating on that address (http://www.mail-tester.com/web-Qxgd51). Then I added a new user info@[domain] (same domain) through the web admin GUI at [domain]/iredadmin. Now if I try sending mails from that new user, DKIM and DMARC records are NOT detected by recipients. Thus I get a lower rating (http://www.mail-tester.com/web-1XtN3R) and some providers won't accept my emails.

Shouldn't DKIM and DMARC be domain-related? Should I change something when I add new users to same domain?

I am new in iRedMail and until now I am positively surprised for the good work that has been done here.

I am sorry to complain though but I have an issue. Tried finding the solution online but I am very sure that I missed it somewhere..

I did the iRedMail setup and I am able to receive but not to send. I want to use my ISP relayhost (requires username and password) but I cannot find where to do that.

I assume that I should do the settings on postfix?

I added these lines in /usr/local/etc/postfix/main.cf:
relayhost = [smtp.ziggo.nl]:587
smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/usr/local/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd
smtp_sasl_security_options = noanonymous

and i added this line in /usr/local/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd:
[smtp.ziggo.nl]:25 USERNAME@ISP.COM:PASSWORD

I tried sending an email from roundcube (that comes with iRedMail) but did not receive it.

Any help would be appreciated.

What do I look for to figure this out?  None of the links open, all give this same error. I get the same error if I go directly to the IP or FQDN without anything on the end, also for http and https.

I would like to avoid any service disruption. I was thinking to create a second email serveur using the email possibilities from my domain provider (creation of the same emails address, adding to my zone the second MX with a different priority from my main iRedmail server) ...

Hey there.
I have a very odd problem with the iredadmin Panel, which is that it kind of went missing all of a sudden.
I think it was after a reboot, that the subfolder (olonaut.de/iredadmin) is resulting in 404. I have no Idea what happened there, because I can still access the /mail panel and even send mails via IMAP just fine.
Recently, I installed letsencrypt, I think that might have something to do with it, since it did something with apache, but I am by no means an expert.
As an attachment, you'll find my iredadmin.conf from /etc/conf-enabled/ folder, maybe that will help find the issue.

Fresh install in jail also FYI: for BSD need to include (a) WITH_OPENSSL_PORT=yes in /etc/make.conf and (b) also force to use perl5.20 as currently a prior task installs 5.18 which requires manual uninstall and re-run of bash script.

After successful installation receive below errors on https://mydomain/: iRedAdmin "Internal Server Error" and Roundcube "Database error connection failed"

So I've got an issue and I'm wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction to get it solved.

What I'm doing:

I need to run two separate Debian 8 virtual machines in VirtualBox. One is the webserver (B) the other is the email server (C). Both are running on a host Debian 8 machine (A) and both (B&C) need to use the MySQL database on the host machine (A). Both VMs have a Bridged Adapter set in VBox so they all behave as real machines on the network. I have successfully setup the webserver on machine (B) to use the host MySQL database. Machine (C) is a fresh installation of Debian 8. When I follow the instructions set forth in the guide provided at http://www.iredmail.org/docs/install.ir … erver.html the installer iRedMail.sh is unable to connect to the MySQL server on the host. I did test just to see if I can even access the host MySQL server from this VM and indeed it can.  After the installation I can see where the installer ran into problems in the final [INFO] section where it mentions error on some line of code in iRedMail.x.x/functions/mysql is missing. The result is that all of the components installed either dont work or cannot connect to the database. Looking at my phpMyadmin page I can see that the installer was not able to make any changes.

My main question; is there someplace in the installer or accompanying files I can insert the MySQL server information and have in connect to the MySQL server on my host machine successfully.

I am storing my emails to: /var/vmail/vmail1 and I am now using in front of my emails server the EFA ...
The EFA should send spam emails with "X-Spam-Status: Yes" to my email server, but I have never received any emails in this folder yet .... If I am checking from EFA, There is a certain numbers of spams ....

Hello, I have setup iredmail on my linux ubuntu server. In the mysql-phpmyadmin i also have set up an email forwarder/alias from one of my email (example): contact@mydomain.com to contact@gmail.com

Now, everytime I want to send from one of my email (example): pasaisea@mydomain.com to contact@mydomain.com I always received an email error message Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender Connection Refused from contact@gmail.com.

E-Mail encryption in transit is not supported in iRedMail, not in version 0.8.3 at least.
I cannot find any document saying it is supported in later versions. Is there any?
Or is that merely a certificate problem (I am using self-signed certificate)?

When I send an e-mail from G-Mail to my iRedMail server, it shows a red padlock indicating that TLS encryption is not enabled on my server.

Any idea?

When I try to create a new folder in roundcube i'm getting an error "an error has occured while saving".

I had no problem to do this some time ago so maybe this is related to newest iredmail updates (maybe i've done something wrong while doing them)?

Hello All, i have implemented public folders with the below tutorial.

Everything was working fine initially. As I gave permission to public folders, i started noticing that it was not taking up the permission that had given by me. for ex, i type,
sudo doveadm acl set -A "Public/Research" "user=postmaster<at>g****bs.biz" lookup read write insert delete create

and postmaster should have all permission in "Research" public folder. its not the case. also the permission is not getting applied to sub folders in public folder. Kindly guide me to configure the permission correctly,  If I'm wrong with my command.

my ultimate ambition is to allow all users to subscribe any folder, view, insert, create sub folders, in public folders, but they should not delete any mails. Except for postmaster who can also delete mails along with said permissions.

Active Sync worked, I then changed Certificates to Wo-Sign and sometimes after that it just stopped. No Sync. Deleted the Account on Android and now when adding the Account Android shows me: Cant connect to server. No message in Apache/error.log. No message in Sogo.log. Only message I get is in apache/access.log:

Edit Update: I changed to a false user name in the android setup screen and its the same. just one access in access.log, no errors in error.log or sogo.log. So connection is made but nothing moves.

so i configure them as IMAP client.
