Hi!
This is my first post here. I installed iredmail with ubuntu 12.04. This all works good and i can access to roundcube, the admin dashboard and so on.
But i have some questions how to configure the mailserver right for my purposes:
At the moment i have a synology diskstation (this i want to replace) with the mailserver on it that works like the following:
I have a normal freemail account lets say "karle@freemail.org" where all the people send me emails.
I fetch this emails via pop3 and store them on the iredmail server to have them via imap in thunderbird or roundcube or my iphone
To send messages i use the smtp server of my freemail provider as mail relay.
to connect to the mailserver from outside i use my dndns account.
Can you tell me how i have to configure the iredmail server right?
