Sqlite for iredmail

Hi,
I'm running Iredmail with Roundcube-0.9.0, and i have a error that sqlite is missing, i have install sqlite ..
My question is:
If this error persists,  my email server work without bugs.
Is sqlite  required for iredmail (postfix and roundcube) work without errors.
